Steamin' Hot Cuppa Justice
By Jeffrey M. Anderson It's probably too soon to consider this brilliant show as one of the greatest ever made, but for argument's sake, let's assume it is. Patrick Warburton gives an excellent performance as the clueless, blue-clad live-action superhero from comic books and cartoons. Essentially a deconstruction of the myths of heroism and super-heroism, the show failed to connect with audiences -- partially because of the lousy time slot it played in. All nine completed episodes appear on Columbia/TriStar's new DVD ($29.95), with occasional commentary tracks by co-creators Barry Sonnenfeld and Ben Edlund.
