A crackpot TV network executive (Norman Fields) schemes to air a porno film awards show, not only to boost ratings, but to inject the virility back into a "castrated" America. The show is hosted by the network's film critic (Harrison Phillips), a typically nerdy, conservative guy who does nothing but complain about sex in movies. Video Vixens promises, and delivers, lots of nudity, but none of it really titillates and there's not much else to write home about. Even the phony "commercials" (copied in later films like Robocop) don't really pack the laughs.

DVD Details: Troma rescued this "classic" from oblivion and released it on a new DVD with an introduction by Lloyd Kaufman and lots of extras (mostly Troma promo items).
