Belle Fatale

Neve Campbell stars in this straight-to-video noir thriller as a kind of Southern-Belle Femme Fatale who picks up a drifter (Billy Burke) on the side of the road and takes him in. Little does he know that she's got her dead husband in the trunk of her car. The movie's plot depends on characters keeping secrets from one another, but each time anyone reveals something, the plot becomes less interesting. Still, good acting saves the day, especially by Campbell who just keeps getting better and better as she slowly sheds her nice-girl TV image.
