Fictional Lovers
By Jeffrey M. Anderson In this lighthearted story, a newlywed woman slips off to meet the hero of her favorite romance rag. Made during Federico Fellini's earlier, more durable period, this classic is one of the director's very best and most lovable works. It was Fellini's solo debut (his previous film, Variety Lights, was co-directed by Alberto Lattuada). The Criterion Collection released the DVD.
