Teen Scream
By Jeffrey M. Anderson A group of teenagers undergo scientific experiments in exchange for quick cash. The only problem is that the experiments are turning them into cold-blooded killers. The silly, slow-paced murder scenes are liable to make today's hard-core fans scoff. Oscar-winner Bill Condon (Gods and Monsters, Chicago) co-wrote this horror pic heavily influenced by Halloween, complete with scary widescreen composition and Peeping Tom-like shots, but it somehow managed to attract a good cast, including Michael Murphy and another Oscar-winner, Louise Fletcher. Elite Entertainment's new, deluxe disc contains a commentary track and lots of extras.
