Buy ...And Then There Were None on DVD.

French director Rene Clair (who falls just shy of "master" status) made the outstanding And Then There Were None (1945, VCI Home Video, $9.99) during his Hollywood years. Ten guests in an island house get knocked off one by one, each suspecting the other of being the murderer. Clair perfectly disguises the murderer for those who aren't familiar with the story, and I was guessing all the way up until the end. This DVD is bargain basement stuff, but well worth the tiny price tag. Based, of course, on the novel by Agatha Christie.
