Real life twenty-seven year old identical twin brothers Michael and Mark Polish write, direct, and star in this atmospheric story of Siamese twins. A hooker named Penny (played by lovely newcomer Michele Hicks) finds them half-dead in a seedy hotel room on their birthday and, after a Halloween Night out, they eventually become friends. Twin Falls Idaho has a great desperate, grungy feel with a pace that allows us to breathe. Despite an ending that succumbs to a few overdone scenes of emotional outpouring and speeches, this is an involving, mature, and touching film.
