Disney released a Special Edition version of this 1994 film in order to cash in on the hype surrounding the new sequel. I normally don't like Tim Allen, but this movie has charm to spare and it's hard to resist. The new disc comes with lots of kid-friendly extras and is available in both wonderful widescreen and evil pan-and-scan versions.
