Kim Possible: The Villain Files (2004)

Rating: 3 Stars (out of 4)

So Not the Drama

Buy Kim Possible: The Villain Files on DVD

A good hero is only as good as her villains, and so Disney has assembled four episodes of their fun half-hour cartoon show "Kim Possible" to highlight her talented rogue's gallery. Three episodes ("Blush," "Animal Attraction" and "Number One") previously aired on television, but the fourth ("Showdown at the Crooked D") is new to DVD (not surprisingly, it's the weakest of the batch). Two episodes feature Dr. Drakken (John Di Maggio) and Shego (Nicole Sullivan) and a third episode features Señor Senior Sr (voiced by Ricardo Montalban) and Senor Sr. Jr. (voiced by Nestor Carbonell). Kim (voiced by Christy Carlson Romano) is a high school teen who serves as captain of the cheerleading squad when she's not saving the planet. Ron Stoppable (voiced by Will Friedle) is her hopelessly nerdy but fearless sidekick, whose hairless mole rat Rufus (voiced by Nancy Cartwright) usually helps out. This disc runs 87 minutes and all four episodes run together without credits or titles. Extras include the interactive "Villain House Party" and a terrible music video by LMNT.

With: (voices) Christy Carlson Romano, Will Friedle, Nancy Cartwright, Tahj Mowry, Shaun Fleming, John Di Maggio, Kirsten Storms, Nicole Sullivan, A.J. Trauth, Gary Cole, Jean Smart, Nestor Carbonell, Ricardo Montalban, Carly Pope, Stephen Root, Brian George, Felicity Huffman, Maurice LaMarche, Tara Strong, B.D. Wong, Kevin Michael Richardson, Lauren Tom
