Killing Time
By Jeffrey M. Anderson Two icons of romantic comedy team up for the first time, and the result is a fizzle. Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock have no chemistry, their banter is more abrasive than funny and the movie itself is an annoying dud. Marc Lawrence writes and directs this tale about a lawyer (Bullock) who works for a needy, demanding billionaire (Grant) and finally decides to quit. While ironing out the details, and finding her replacement (Alicia Witt), the two fall in love. Bullock produced.
